On Air: Tuesday 9-11
Biography: Frank Charlton is currently Chairman of Caithness FM. As if
that isn't enough for him - he's also responsible for obtaining sponsorship from
local companies to raise enough money to keep the station on air! Frank has been
with CFM since the days of the second RSL in 1994, and still presents his weekly
folk music show "Frankly Folk". In fact he holds the record for the longest run
without missing a show.
Originally from Dundee, Frank, moved to Thurso over 20 years ago after a career
in the RAF and, until retiring was employed by UKAEA on the Dounreay Nuclear
Power Station as an Instrument Mechanic. Married with four children, Frank is
also a proud grandfather who lists his interests as folk music, chess,
photography, reading, sex, sex, and yet more sex!
